Summerwind 901C – Sunny & Chair

Best Beach Getaways was wonderful to work with and prompt with their follow-up when we couldn't figure out how to work one of the showers. The condo's decor has been updated from what was shown in the photos (it's now beachy and not animal print themed). Overall the condo has what you need for a nice stay. Beds in two of the rooms could use mattress toppers or new mattresses if you like a soft bed. Best part was having the beach chair set up as that saved a lot of hassle with dragging umbrella's and chairs to the beach! Note that you should reserve you chairs when you first arrive. If you want to be on the front row directly with ocean view you will need to pay $10 more per day (well worth it). The chair rental team is awesome and they have the chairs and umbrellas out with your name on them by 6:30 am each morning. If you have a large group you can rent an additional umbrella ($25 a day) or more chairs. We did two umbrella's each day so that we could always be in the shade. This condo has a very short walk to the beach as you simply go down the elevator and cross over to the boardwalk and onto the beach. View from the balcony was great! It's on the ninth floor which was nice as we were directly over the pool but did not hear any noise from the pool deck. If in a condo lower down, this might have been an issue. The complex seems to be a mix of older folks with lot's of family visiting. Also, highly recommend using Grocery Concierge to stock the condo before your arrival. They made this a super easy trip and we didn't have to go to the grocery store for anything other than extra trash bags for the kitchen. Lastly, there is a little wine bar owned by a former school teacher in Navarre called "The Vine" that you should visit if this is an adult trip. Great wine and the food was off the hook! Overall I would rank this as a 4 star property as it's not luxurious. It met our needs for the week without jumping into a higher price point property.

Everything was very nice, I loved sitting on the patio and seeing the beach, and the fishing pier was awesome. I will definitely be looking to stay again.

Our time at Summerwind was amazing as usual - we've been coming there for the last 14 years. I did have a question, on the 4th of July - the Summer wind building to the east of us and a few floors above us, set off two massive fireworks either off their balcony or from inside the unit - I was just curious if anyone knew anything about it?

It was our first stay at the complex and loved the decor of 901C. We will be booking another stay in the next month for next October. We will try a different condo just for a change but have this one on our favorite list.

Very nice

This was a family beach vacation - 13 of us. We enjoyed the condo, the pool and how nice the condo was! The beach area was wonderful. We enjoyed having a free set of lounge chairs with umbrella at the beach!

The condo was very nice and comfortable the AC worked perfect the dryer worked perfect which may seem funny me saying that but most of the condos that we have stayed at the dryer does not work well but this one did.
They were all great and helpful. Navarre Properties has always been very good to work with.

901C was one the nicest units we have rented in Navarre. The decor made us feel very welcomed. The beds were very comfortable.

Our only problem was that one of our vehicles got hit between 9:00am Friday and 9:00am Saturday. We contacted State Trooper and it was determined that the area was definitely on the security camera. The problem being is that there was nobody available to review the security tape until Monday and we left on Sunday and most likely whoever hit the car did also.
Everyone was kind and friendly.

The room was beautiful, large, up to date and clean. We could not have asked for a better room. We were in the corner of the building and had a wrap around balcony that was very nice also.
There was a possibility that we would be late checking in so, we called the staff. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The staff gave us great instructions on what to do if we were late. Luckily we made it on time but the help we received was great.

Absolutely loved!!!!

Please let owners of 901C their unit was beautiful, well equipped and comfortable. The owners paid for beach chairs and an umbrella which we did.not receive any of the days we were there. The beach rental equipment worker was asleep on the job, when we approached he told us he had "none left". The second day we asked again and was told they were out if chairs and needed to get more. I even called the rental company owner Ed. He was very rude and not helpful, said they were getting more chairs and umbrellas. We never got one. The owners if 901C are paying for a service for their renters and they are not getting it. The chairs should be reserved everyday they are pre paid for!

We have been coming to Navarre now, for about 4 to 5 years. We love it there. We have only stayed at Summerwinds Resort, because the property and ammenities are very nice. We get together with our friends every year for a trip, so this year we brought them to Navarre-Summerwind.We loved the Condo, but, there was construction on our floor, just outside of our room. We had to breath and walk thru concrete dust to get on the elevator every time we went in and out of the room. Every time we opened our door the dust can in the room.It was all over the floor, and we had to but up with the noise of them grinning the paint off of the concrete, which started at 8:00 am. We were a little disppointed since we brought our guest. It was a two day progress.Other than that, we had a great time.

My family has stayed in Navarre for over 25 years, this specific condo is by far the nicest in which we have stayed. There were sufficient places for everyone to sit in the common area, which is important to us. The kitchen was well stocked with the essentials and we just can not say enough about the decor. We absolutely loved our stay and will most definitely be joining you again. Thank you!

Furnishings. My only complaint is the two small bedrooms. It was very difficult to have two people on the room at the same time. And the outdated small TV in the room with two beds was a pain. The remote would not work properly & it was plugged in in a really difficult spot to reach.

We had a wonderful experience. The owners were kind enough to purchase an umbrella and two chairs for us--unheard of in past stays--so we could enjoy the beach each day of the week without an extra charge. That was very thoughtful. The condo was lovely, and all that we needed was pretty much at our fingertips. We always stock the pantry and fridge with Winn Dixie--even the manager there was overly beneficent and allowed us to use the store discount without a card. We will definitely continue to return each year for our July visit...and we learned that because we stay each year, we are entitled to a discount if we call directly. The bonuses just continue to accrue. Thanks for making our stay a memorable one!
It has been a pleasure to have the team at one of the condo buildings rather than at a separate office building in the area. That was very convenient. It reminded me more of Turquoise Place on Orange Beach where we visited two years ago. Those kinds of changes make Summerwind even more appealing to us.
