A week was the perfect little getaway although I wish I could have stayed longer!!! I like how there are keypads instead of keys so you don't have to worry about loosing the key or bringing it with you to the beach. The vibe of the blues are nice and the flooring looks new! We used the HDMI cord on the tv to hook it up to a laptop to watch a movie no problem! I like how close it is to the beach, even if it isn't beachfront. We also used the umbrella that came with the place (on the back porch area) and that was really nice to have when the sun was out. Also used the boogie board and the bench was nice to store our gallon water jugs out of the sun which we filled with tap water to wash off our feet when we came in from the beach. I will say that the toilet can be a little finicky at times so I found myself using the two drop flush most of the time. It can sleep 6 but I think the space itself would be tight for 6 adults and only one bathroom. The bathroom is connect to the master bedroom so people will have to walk thorough the master to get to the bathroom. We had 3 people and no problems with it. We enjoyed our stay and while there were things that could have made our stay a little easier, all in all we enjoyed it and it was good for the price! The place has a dishwasher and came with 3 dishwashing pouches and also a mini dishwashing soap and we thought we would go through the whole thing, but we didn't. You should note that there is no washer or dryer in the unit but there is a coin operated laundry mat (I think in the complex) but we didn't end up needing it/using it. Back porch area also had a small patio table where we hung out our towels to dry. I think the light fixtures could use a good dusting but other then that the place was clean and pleasant, but honestly we spent most of our time at the beach.

Absolutely loved this place, centrally located to Absolutely everything to do in Destin and surrounding areas. We will definitely come to stay and visit here again. It was just a quick walk to the Beach and they had toys and chairs that we could take and relax.
Totally recommended!!! :)

I loved my stay at the Tropical Isle in Ft. Walton Beach !! The location was ideal and I never left Okaloosa Island . Tropical Isle is a 30 second walk to the boardwalk that leads to the sugar white sand and emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico . It was so ideal and relaxing . The place was beautifully decorated , the bed was soft and comfortable , it was he perfect size place for me . It was nice and clean although the blinds did need dusting . I will be back 1000% !! I had the best time ever and they had fireworks off the pier at 9 o' clock which was a perfect surprise for my birthday . I highly recommend this place !

We loved this perfect little get away spot. It was clean, had a fully stocked kitchen and was a 2 min walk to the beach entrance. We will definitely be back next year!
