Calypso 305E

Terrific unit!

I have stayed in Panama City Beach many times and Calypso is one of my favorites. This a great location, right next to Pier Park, the facilities are very well kept, very clean.

Best Beach Getaways were great to deal with, everything handled in a timely, professional way.

Unit 305 East was ready early and was very clean, when I arrived. It has plenty of supplies and equipped very well. Looked to have been recently renovated, very happy with the unit. There was one small drawback, the entry door is right next to elevator lobby, can get a little noisy at times.

Loved the condo!! Was so nice to have a slider in the bedroom. Great location!!

Room was perfect for a couple getaway, clean and had everything you need for a vacation. (Except crab leg tools….but it does now lol) First time I used Best Beach Getaways and it was perfect. Sent all information in plenty of time didn’t have to go though front desk of condo. Had front door code and went straight to room.

Great location on 3rd floor, with easy access to the beach and parking deck. We also appreciated the walking distance access to Pier Park. Much quieter than we expected. Unit was clean except for Kcup coffee machine. Overall very comfortable. The newness of the unit possibly a little over sold but was a nice unit. We would certainly consider renting the unit again at competitive rates, given the location and condition.

We always stay at calypso towers. Great location and the condos never disappoint! Our stay was 5 stars as usual!

Perfect view! Great location!

The location of condo was in walking distance to Pier Park. Access to beach was awesome. The room was set up great to accommodate a couple. Gulf view was beautiful. If stayed when pool area was busier we would want to be on a higher level. Hot tub would be nice on site. First night heating and cooling system was not working properly. Maintenance spent 3 hours the next day working on it. We were woke up to fire alarm chirping in morning a few days. Overall, enjoyed our stay.

My wife and I are very particular, so couldn't give the 305E Calypso Condo a "5". Mostly cause of the wear and tear. But, it was very clean. And considering the 100's of other condos within the resort, the 305E condo is located on the 3 rd floor, just a few units down from the garage walk-way . This makes it very convenient for loading and unloading. "Best Beach GetAways" were good to work with. Had a minor issue with the air conditioner and they had it fixed within hours. This was our first visit to PCB (Panama City Beach). Great beaches, great restaurants. Fun activities. Loved the pier, Pineapple Willies, Sharky's, Wicked Wheel, and Sea Screamers Dolphin Tour..... If you are interested, the Naval Aviation Museum at the Naval base in Pensacola was 2 thumbs up... On the way back, Destin Harbour Walk was great food and shopping (gotta keep the wife happy) .... Would highly recommend, if you have never been to PCB...

Very nice condo and location! We have been staying at Calypso for the last 10 years, but this was out 1st time in 305E and with Best Beach Getaways.
We had a positive experience overall. The only hiccup was the dryer didn’t work during our stay. BBG promptly responded and supplied us with additional towels and wash cloths to help mitigate the inconvenience.
We are likely to return again soon!

Had a wonderful stay until I got seriously injured. Property managers very compassionate and helped me relocate to another unit and helped moved my luggage/gear as I was incapacitated. All to say, the rooms are amazing and comfortable if you are well and healthy but if aren’t, no better place to convalesce.

We had a very pleasant weeks stay at the Calypso Towers handled by Best Beach Getaways. The condo was very clean and well supplied with cooking appliances, dishes, cups and glasses. On the first day we had a problem with the air conditioning which was corrected within a few hours of reporting it.

Great location, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed almost everthing about this condo. The bed was a little soft, but otherwise everything was perfect. We have stayed on higher floors for the views and missed that a bit, but loved not having to wait for the elevator. Really great week.

We love going through Best Beach for our vacation rentals. We always like to stay at Calypso in PCB and are always happy with our experience.

Perfect trip! Great place to stay!

The Calpso was perfect and 305E was super nice. The room was exactly like the pictures, nicely decorated, well stocked kitchen, clean and had a wonderful view. We have no complaints, none. If you book this condo, you won't be disappointed. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time in Florida!! The condo was just like the pictures. It was right next to the elevators, but the noise wasn’t bad!! I would say that if you like to sit on the balcony the noise is a little loud from the pool, since the condo is on the third floor and the pool is right under the balcony. But not bad enough to disrupt anything. We would definitely stay here again!!!

First of all, the pictures look exactly like this property. The views are gorgeous morning and night. It’s within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The rental has everything you need to enjoy a beach vacation. A couple of things I wanted to point out for future renters to make things easier on you. 1) This property includes a beach chair rental. So the chairs you see out on the beach are reserved by units and you check in with the attendant on the beach for the number of chair you are in. Don’t just sit at any or someone will likely ask you to move out of their chair. 2) Be sure you get your parking pass email from the Calypso Tower property BEFORE you arrive. If you don’t you will NOT be able to get in the parking garage across the street. We spent a hour trying to figure this out. 3) The building is split into east (left) and west (right) looking at it from the street. This unit is on the same level as the parking garage skybridge (level 3). Once across the bridge, take a left and you will find it next to the elevators. I also found this out the hard way! Washer and dryer are SUPER convenient. All in all, we will definitely stay in this unit again as its clean and you can’t beat the views!

Pictures of Condo do not do it justice. Amazing views of the beach and water. Beautifully furnished, top of the line appliances and comfortable bed. Nice large jacuzzi tub and love that the unit had 1.5 baths. Location is great - right next to elevator and on the 3rd floor which is same floor as skyway to parking lot. On a low enough floor that the stairs can be used. We will stay here again. Information and correspondence from Management Company was timely and concise.
